An accountant who writes

It is so easy to make assumptions! I phoned James Hannam to interview him for the second edition of our newsletter to discover that he has a full time job at Ernst and Young. It is so easy to forget that most writers don’t live by the production of words alone. James studied physics before taking up a career in accountancy, and it was only after establishing himself that he took a break to pursue his interest in the history of science, simultaneously studying for a doctorate and writing his book God’s Philosophers. Now he is back at the office in the City and enjoying studying and writing for pleasure and fulfilment. He will be with us on Saturday the 8th of June.
