Children's and Youth Worker for churches in Wandsworth

I am pleased to announce that we have secured some funding from the diocese towards this project. The post will be for 17.5 hours per week, and we will be expecting to pay around £9,000 per year.  We have come up with what we think will be a highly attractive job, as we will require very little working during holiday times- the salary is for 40 weeks working, not 52! and the post is highly flexible. We will be sharing in the project with St Anne’s Wandsworth and St Paul’s Wimbledon Park, and will be drawing up a job desciption shortly. We are looking for someone with a teaching qualification to support and educate the people who are working with children and young people, rather than run eveything themselves. We think it is an imaginative and creative way of working and we hope to appoint someone in September. So if you know of anyone who has the right skills and would like to have a highly flexible job do let them know!
