Getting Married at St Barnabas

A wedding is one of life’s great moments, a time of solemn commitment as well as good wishes, feasting and joy. St Barnabas is here to serve those seeking a church wedding in a place that feels significant and right for them. You do not need to be on our Electoral Roll or have a history of regular service attendance with us to get married at St Barnabas. There are many ways of being connected to St Barnabas: perhaps you were baptized here; perhaps your parents or grandparents were married here; or perhaps you simply live within the parish limits or did so once and thought of St Barnabas as your local church. Be assured also that it is possible for divorced people to get married at St Barnabas.

If you would like to explore the possibility of getting married at St Barnabas, please click on ‘Contact’ in our main menu and get in touch with our vicar, Rev’d Ian Tattum. Should a St Barnabas wedding be agreed upon, you will have the chance to get to know Ian through a series of preparatory meetings. Our church halls may also suit your needs for a wedding reception.
