Southfields Harvest 2021

Our neighbourhood festival is back at St Barnabas! Enter the Southfields Bake-off, enjoy craft beer and cider, home-made honey and jam, allotment veg and Southfields sausages, hot off the BBQ. Join artist and author, Jane Porter, to create a collective work of art, or listen to the fascinating tales of The Storyteller of Southfields. Find out what’s happening in your community and how you can join in. Live music, tea, cake and good company. Supporting local charities, like Ace of Clubs (see their donations Wish List below). For more information, visit: https://www.southfieldsharvest.org.uk.

The organizers would love to hear from anyone who could commit to helping, either with set-up or on the day. In particular, they need a BBQ chef to work with Lincoln Jopp on cooking the famous Southfields sausages, plus marshals and people to staff various stalls. The Southfields Bake-off will be back, so do continue to practice the baking skills you honed during the pandemic.

Hall Bookings

Our halls are open for hire.

We are delighted to be welcoming back regular group activities, both for children and for adults.

As of April 23, 2022, we will have limited availability for party hire.  For the time being, we are prioritizing users who live in the parish of St Barnabas or are church members, as we want to support our local community as we come out of Covid restrictions.  Click here for details.

We run the halls as part of our commitment to the community.  Although they raise revenue for us, they are not profit making, so we ask all hirers to respect them and look after them so that they can be enjoyed by local residents for many years to come.

NB: all hall names are merely working titles, and all prices are open to revision!
