It’s back! St Barnabas is once again holding its 12-Hour Perfomathon, raising spirits as well as funds. Retaining its joyful founding format, this year’s Performathon will be built around the ancient daily offices of Morning Prayer, Evensong (held as a Come and Sing choral service) and Compline, with a veritable variety show of individual and group performances in between.
Could you or someone you know be one of our performers? Whether you’re a 5-minute solo act or an ensemble with a repertoire, whether you work in music, dance or spoken word, St Barnabas wants to give you your moment in the spotlight and the opportunity to be part of a unique and inspiring collective composition.
Sign up here for a place on the programme schedule.
Plus, singers of all ages and ability are warmly invited to join the Come and Sing Choral Evensong. Rehearsal begins at 3pm. A recommended £20 donation will cover the cost of your score and after-service refreshments, including a glass of wine for the over-18s. Click on the link below to register!
Join the Come and Sing Choral Evensong!
Admission will be free to audience members as well as performers, but we hope you will be moved to give generously. There will be three ways to donate: charity collection buckets, a SumUp device, and a QR code linked to our JustGiving account. We will also be running a cash cafe, serving cakes, savouries, tea, coffee and soft drinks.
